Outreach ministry is a common practice that helps a church spread God’s word and share his love with the community and the world at large. It remains a critical part of most churches, however, doesn’t require a lot to get started. Serving, encouraging, giving and showing mercy (Romans 12), just as the Good Samaritan showed “mercy” to the man who was beaten, stripped, robbed and left for dead (Luke 10) Outreach is a different act of worship, or spiritual sacrifice, from preaching and teaching, but equally as valid.
